    • Scanned DME and found codes as follows: P0300 – Random Multiple Misfire Detected P0301 – Cylinder 1, Misfire P0302 – Cylinder 2, Misfire P0303 – Cylinder 3, Misfire P0304 – Cylinder 4, Misfire P0305 – Cylinder 5, Misfire P0306 – Cylinder 6, Misfire The car smoked a start up. This is not uncommon on a car that sits. It ran a little rough at start up and had a little chain noise. The car smoothed out very quickly. Test drive the vehicle. It runs great. SCan for codes after the test drive. No codes found. THe customer stated that they start the car maybe once a month and lets it idle. This is very bad for this vehicle. We recommend taking the car on a good drive after being started.

Distance Position Sensor Failure. Recommend taking to the dealer for possible transmission replacement.
