- Scan the DME system Codes found P1697 – Mechanical Fault in generator P1696 – Electrical Fault in generator U0148 – Lost communication with Gateway "A" P1608 – Time Out, Cruise control message p1628 – CAN interface, SGS no communications U0103 – Unknown Fault P1614 – Steering Angle Sensor control module, No communication Check the fuses . There were 5 blown fuses and 1 missing fuse. Replace the blown fuses and install the correct fuses where they belong. The car now starts but will not shift. Check the alternator as indicated by the codes. The alternator is not charging. There are as well codes in the transmission control unit and the vehicle is in limp mode. Recommend replacing the alternator and rechecking the transmission issue. Access the transmission control module to check for power. The module is receiving power. Recommend taking the car to the dealer for possible transmission control module replacement

- THE CONTROLS IN THE CENTER CONSOLE WILL DROP OUTTH
- THE PSM LIGHT COMES ON AS WELL. THE START STOP WILL NOT WORK WHEN THE PSM LIGHT COMES ON. BOTH THE CEL AND PSM LIGHTS WILL GO OUT WHEN THE KEY IS CYCLED. HAPPENS WHEN VERY HOT AT SLOW SPEEDS.
